The old Coptic name of this sign, Pi Mahi, signifies "The
United," as united in fellowship or "brotherhood." Gemini was originally known by its Hebrew name Thaumin, The United. Here we have a picture of the dual nature and mission of Jesus Christ, the Messiah. The twin figures deal with the divine and human nature; with the mission of Christ as both Prince and Ruler, and also as Savior and Sufferer.

Jesus Christ is God. Jesus means the Savior, and Christ means 'one who is anointed.' As Samuel anointed Saul in the Old Testament, kings were anointed, priests were anointed and for a prophet to minister prophethood, he had to be anointed.

Jesus came to this world and was anointed for three duties: that of the Priest, the King, and the Prophet. As the heavenly Priest, He was baptized to take away the sins of man upon Himself instead of all creation.

Obeying the will of His Father, He presented Himself as the sin offering before the Father. "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus saved those of us who believe in Him by taking away all our sins through His baptism and by being crucified.
"For the life of the flesh is in the blood" (Leviticus 17:11).

Jesus bled at the Cross after His baptism; thus offering His life before God as the wages for our sins so that we believers might be saved.

He was resurrected three days after He died on the Cross and He preached the gospel to the spirits shut away in jail. Those who are not yet redeemed are like spiritual prisoners in jail of sin, and to them Jesus preaches the gospel of truth, the gospel of the water and the blood. God has given us the gospel of the water and the Spirit to save us. Anyone who believes in it is born again.

God made the earth and the fullness thereof. Then He gave Adam dominion, or authority, over all the works of His hands. (Gen. 1:27,18; Ps. 8:3-6). Adam had dominion on the earth. In fact, Adam was made the god of this world. When he committed high treason and sold out to Satan, then Satan, through Adam, became (god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4), and a rebel holder of Adam's authority.

But the Bible calls Jesus Christ the last Adam (I Cor. 15:45). Jesus came as our Representative -- our Substitute -- and defeated Satan! Jesus died it for us! Not for Himself. All that Jesus did belongs to us.

We believers are in the world but not of it. Satan is not to dominate us. We are to dominate Satan. We can dominate Satan. We have authority over him. Jesus defeated him for us and gave us power over him in Jesus name.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. Romans 15:13

I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD. Psalm 27:13-14

The storm stopped. The calm came. Jesus was risen as He said.

"Oh God, I know without Jesus I am lost. But I do not want to be lost. I want to be saved. I know You sent Your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins so I could have eternal life. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. Lord Jesus, come into my heart right now and save me. I believe You died for me. You bore my sins. so I turn from my old way of living, and I make You the Lord of my life. Thank You for saving me. Help me to live my life for you. Amen

I believe in Him!

This is the faith of the born again. It is not something that you consciously admit. Is your conscience clean? Is it clean because you have lived a good life, or is it clean because all your sins were passed on to Jesus and you believe in Him? It is only through this faith that you can obtain a clean conscience.

There are words with life and words without life. How can the conscience of all people be cleansed? The only way that we can be righteous and have a clean conscience is to believe in complete redemption through Jesus.

Since Jesus washed away my sins, and since God accepted judgment for me, how can I not believe in Him! Knowing that Jesus, who is God, saved me through His baptism and blood, how can I not believe in Him! We were saved before God and now our consciences are clean. We can no more say before God that Jesus didn't completely wash away our sins than we can say that God doesn't love us.
Our conscience is extremely sensitive and it tells us whenever we do wrong. If our conscience is bothered even a little, we cannot be completely free of sin without believing in the baptism of Jesus. It is the only way we can have a good conscience.

When our conscience bothers us, it means that something is wrong. The water of Jesus' baptism cleans away all the dirt of sin. Jesus took away all our sins with His baptism and washed us clean. When we really believe this, our consciences can also be truly cleansed. How can our conscience be cleansed? By believing in the baptism and the blood of Jesus. Everyone has an evil and dirty conscience from birth. But if we believe that all our sins were passed on to Jesus, we can blot out that stain.

Father, I confess that I am strengthened with might by your Holy Spirit in my inner man according to the riches of Your glory, that Christ now dwells in my heart by faith, and I am rooted and grounded in love. I am able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, length, depth, and height, and know the love of Christ, which passes all understanding and knowledge (Ephesians 3:16-18)

Father, I confess in the Name of Jesus Christ that You make me to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, to the end that You establish my heart in holiness before, You my Father, at the coming of my Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints." (I Thess. 3:12-13)

Father, I come to You in the Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. You have glorified Your Son and Your Son has also glorified You. You have given Him power over all flesh and He has given eternal life to as many as You have given Him. Grant that I may know You, Father, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. For to know You is eternal life.

In Jesus I am made perfect in every good work to do His will (Heb. 13:21)

In Jesus I have a lively hope (I Peter 1:3)



In Jesus I have joy unspeakable (I Peter 1:8)

In Jesus I have received the anointing which teaches me all things. (I John 2:27)
