Statement of Belief We believe that the Scriptures are inspired by GodWe believe that the Scriptures are inspired by God, are without error in the original writings, centered on the Lord Jesus Christ, and are the whole authority in matters of doctrine and conduct for the believer.(2Tim. 3:16-17; 2 Tim. 2:15; Heb. 4:12; 2 Pet. 1:20; Luke 24:27; John 17:17). We believe in the bodily resurrection to an eternal state of glory in Heaven in the presence of God for believers, and eternal punishment in the lake of fire apart from god for the unbeliever. (Rom. 8:10-15; 1 Thess. 4:16-17; 1 Cor. 15:20-23, 51-55; John 3:15-16, Rev. 21:3-4; Rev. 20:5-6, 11-15). We believe in the "Great Commission" to make disciples of all nations by evangelizing, baptizing, and teaching. (Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 16:15; Luke 24:45-49; Acts 1:8). We believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ to meet His church in the air, and later to the earth to establish His Kingdom. (1Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 20:4-6, 21:1-8).
