(I Chronicles 4: 9-10) "Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him in pain." And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" SO GOD GRANTED HIM WHAT HE REQUESTED.
It is God's desire for you to prosper in all your ways. He has made provision for you. He goes about the earth seeking whom He may bless.
Matthew 7:7 says: "Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and the door shall be opened to you."
King Jehoshaphat prayed this powerful prayer:
"Oh Lord God, there is no God in the heavens except You. There is no God like You. You are so strong, so mighty, so powerful. Who can stand against You? You have delivered us out of the land of the heathen. And You have given this land freely to Your friend, Abraham. And You promised that his descendants would have it from now on. And God, we are his descendants. But now God, these three mighty armies are coming against us. But we know God, You have the power to stop them. We know nothing is too hard for You. But God we stand here in our own power and in our own might, in our own ability. We don't have any strength to stand against this mighty army. We don't know what to do God. But our eyes are upon You."
FAILURES AND DISASTERS STANDING ON THE BRINK OF A MIRACLE
All of us fail sometime or come to a place of loss, maybe even disaster. All across the world, one feels that dissipating, discouraging, despondent feeling of failure or disaster in life. But thank God disasters bring us to the brink of a miracle. Religion may fail you but God will not. What is impossible with man, is possible with God.
All the "wood, hay, and stubble must be destroyed. But rooted and grounded in the Word, I am a production of what God is forming and I can stay the gates of hell and laugh in the face of calamity. I can say, "All things work together for good to them that love God." (Romans 8:28)
Are we children of circumstances or children of faith? If we are on natural lines, we are troubled at the wind blowing, for as it blows, it whispers fearfulness. But if you are rooted and grounded, you can withstand the tests. And it is only then that you prove what is the breadth and length and depth and height, and know the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:18).
"Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait I say on the Lord". (Psalm 27:14)
One of the really wondrous things about prayer is that it opens up avenues
for you to see the hand of God on your life
We begin to see a pattern emerge
where we like David call on the Lord in despair
God hears and delivers us out of all our troubles
each time this happens our faith soars
we see God caring
He never fails us as we put our trust in Him
we see His power manifested in our lives
we begin to see that He does exceedingly
abundantly
above all we ask or think
When David says," Be" of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart"
believe it
as you see God answer prayer..get bolder
knowing He will answer you His promise is,"I will show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."
Even as you continue in prayer
believe He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him
Embark on this adventure of prayer
seek God in all things
go to the Father in Jesus' name
God does not withhold any good thing from His Son
nor will He withhold any good thing from us
as we approach Him in Jesus' name
God's answer to us is yea and amen
His Word says so
ask that your joy may be complete
Don't tell God how to answer your prayer
hand it over to Him and trust Him to answer it
exceedingly, abundantly above all you ask or think
Don't limit God
Let Him show you great and mighty things
are you suffering?
are you in need of answers?
pray give God free reign to answer your prayers
above all we ask or think
don't limit God with your thoughts, fears and anxieties, cast all your cares upon Him and don't limit God in any way
"The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much."(James 5:16)
that your joy may be complete
Amen
According to John 16:23 Jesus said, " I assure you most solemnly I tell you, that My Father will grant you whatever you ask in My Name."
Jesus, You said in Mark 11:24, "Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe, trust, and be confident that it is granted you, and you will get it."
Your Word states in Luke 6:38, "Give and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give unto your bosom." In accordance to Your Word, I give, I sow seed, in order to set this Spiritual Law to work in my behalf.
